Who can I contact if I have a question about camp?
Who are the camp counselors?
- Atlanta Storm Directors & Coaches
- Team coaches will be with the teams and will be staying in the cabins to supervise.
Where do the kids sleep?
- Sleep in cabins with twin bunk beds
- Each cabin is a different size
- Team mates will stay in same cabin
- For the 2nd-4th graders, parent volunteers will be staying in the cabins. You will get a message from your team parent so that you can contact them in case of an emergency. The littles will have extra help getting ready and putting on sunblock!
Do they need to spend money at camp and how much?
- Approx. $20 for late night snacks at the team store.
- Store also sells t-shirts and hoodies
Is there a medical person on site?
- A medical trainer will be on site at all times and is CPR certified
Is there cell service, will kids/counselors/coaches have phones?
- Yes, there is cell service however, campers will not have access to their phones while they are at camp. We will collect and store them in locked bins.
- The Atlanta Storm Directors and the Athletic Trainer will have their cell phones at all times. The other coaches and staff will also have cellphones and/or walkie talkies.
Will the kids be swimming in the lake/pool?
- Yes! This is not mandatory, but all girls will have pool/lake time. They will have to pass a swim test to be able to swim and must wear a life jacket when using the lake.
